The Jefferson Av Station is entirely surrounded by residential buildings.  It runs through the center of peaceful blocks between two major north-south arteries:  Richmond Road and Hylan Boulvard.  HIlls rise in the distant west.  It's so quiet you hear bird song.  Dogs bark to greet the train. This middle class neighborhood has its own train line.
